A little bit of everything…
The turk project has commenced! Last week we had a meeting with the m3lim (man who will construct the new turks) and they started work the next day. I have also recruited some Peace Corps volunteers and high school students from the ACCESS program to help out with the health workshop which will be held on March 17th.
Standard ‘Peace Corps’ photo. If volunteers love to be in them, Moroccans like to take them. There’s about 20 other unsuspecting photos where this came from.
My friend Joelle sent me this masterpiece of a valentine. I like any card that has Brett Michael’s on it.
As I mentioned in my last post, we had a Valentine’s Day party at the Dar Chebab that went very well! Success in the Peace Corps is sweet (and sometimes far and few between).
This also was taking place during the party. Did I mention I love Morocco?
On Saturday I played basketball (poorly) with some of my ‘kids’ (i.e. friends) at the high school. I did score a point though!
Pajama competition at the Official Region 3 Girls Sleepover last Sunday.
